At Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home we offer a variety of services to fit the needs of each and every family. The following is a brief summary of some of the options we offer.
Traditional Service
This option includes the removal of remains, basic services of staff, necessary authorizations, in state and/or visitation, funeral ceremony at our facility or in a church chosen by the family, transportation to the cemetery, and committal service at graveside.
Graveside Service
This option includes the removal of remains, basic services of staff, necessary authorizations, in state and/or visitation, transportation to the cemetery and a graveside ceremony.
Immediate Burial
This option includes the removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, the necessary authorizations and basic services of staff. There is no visitation or ceremony, public or private. Since there is no viewing or visitation involved, embalming is not necessary.
Immediate Cremation
This option includes the removal of remains, local transportation to the crematory, necessary authorizations and basic service of staff. There is no visitation or ceremony, public nor private. Embalming is not necessary.
Limited Care Cremation (Memorial Service)
This option includes basic services of staff, transfer of remains from place of death to our facility, transportation to the crematory, cremation process, return of cremains to the funeral home, use of our facilities and staff for a memorial service. Local delivery of cremains to the family.
Partial Care Cremation (Viewing/Visitation – No Ceremony)
This option includes Basic services of staff, transfer of remains from place of death to our facility, embalming operation, other preparation (cosmetizing, dressing, and casketing), use of facilities and staff for funeral viewing/visitation, transportation to crematory, cremation process, return of cremains to funeral home, local delivery of cremains to the family.
Complete Care Cremation Service
This option includes basic services of staff, transfer of remains from place of death to our facility, embalming operation, other preparation (cosmetizing, dressing, casketing), in state and/or visitation, use of facilities and staff for funeral ceremony, transportation to crematory, cremation process, return of cremains to funeral home, and local delivery of cremains to family.
