Rosalie Ann “Nanny” Anderson, 87, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was born on November 20, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lois Ephriam and Sylvia Lea Ewing Reynolds.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Standley. To this union, two sons were born. She later married Ronald Stansill. Together they had three daughters. She was a hard worker providing for her family. Rosalie became an LPN and worked at various nursing facilities. She was a woman of deep faith and passed this along to her children.
She enjoyed fishing, watching and feeding the birds, sewing, traveling, and genealogy. She grew up in the Great Depression. As a result, she was frugal and didn’t waste much. Rosalie was musically inclined. She played organ, piano, harmonica, and accordion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Standley, a sister, Carolyn Reynolds McLaughlin, and an infant sister.
Rosalie is survived by a son, Michael Standley and wife Virginia, three daughters, Lora Lea Eggleston and husband Chad, Lisa Kuder and husband Scott, Leanna Jane West and husband Jeremy, a considered daughter, Raylene Vann, two brothers, Edward L. Reynolds, and Robert D. Reynolds, grandchildren, Amber Cooper(John Russell), Wendy Wright (Tyler), Cheyenne Cooper, Bradley Williams, Keith Kuder, Erica McClendon(Ty), Jeremiah West, Devin West(Alley Solis), and Julian Duncan, and numerous great grandchildren.
